Innovative tech and digital learning platform EduFocal Limited has again been suspended by the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) with immediate effect.

For a second time, the reason for the suspension is the late submission of audited financial statements. Having been suspended immediately on Tuesday (June 3) for the late submission of its 2023 audited financial statements, Edufocal, which trades under the name $LEARN, is now 94 days late in submitting its 2024 audited financial statements.

The company’s 2024 audited financial statements, due on March 1, became ninety-three (93) days overdue yesterday.

Yesterday’s suspension is in keeping with the Junior Market Rule Appendix 2, Part 4 (2) (e). Trading resumed in EduFocal’s shares on the JSE Junior Market, effective June 21, 2024.

EduFocal had submitted its 2023 audited financial statements for the period ended December 31, 2023, which was more than 90 days overdue, thereby remedying its breach of JSE Junior Market Rule Appendix 2, Part 4 (1) (e), which led to the suspension of trading in its shares in June 2024.
