Digital learning institution, EduFocal Limited, which trades as LEARN on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE), has changed its mentor.
Arising from the resignation of Tania Waldron-Gooden as mentor for the company, Herbert Hall has been appointed to the role, effective May 28.
Hall, a seasoned investment banking consultant, boasts over 20 years of experience in the finance field.
He is a trained economist and held the post of monetary economist with the Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) and specialises in debt refinancing, debt restructuring, capital raises (debt, quasi-equity and equity), mergers and acquisitions as well as off-balance sheet financing.
Turning to the resignation of Waldron-Gooden, which took effect on March 1, EduFocal says, “Her resignation as mentor is due to personal reasons and is not related to any disagreements with the company’s operations, policies, or procedures. We extend our deepest gratitude to Gooden for her invaluable contributions during her tenure.“
