Digital education company EduFocal Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with local audit, tax, and advisory services firm Signature Creed & Associates. 

Arising from the partnership, Signature Creed & Associates joined Edufocal as its Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective June 28, 2024. The announcement was made yesterday, on the same day Edufocal disclosed that its CFO, Fonnique Richardson, resigned effective June 28, 2024.

In announcing the alliance, Edufocal reiterated its commitment to continuous growth and excellence noting that partnering with Signature Creed & Associates marks a significant milestone for the Gordon Swaby led EduFocal.

“With their extensive expertise in financial strategy, advisory, and management, we are confident that this collaboration will enhance our financial operations and contribute to our overall mission of transforming education in Jamaica,” Edufocal stated.

Signature Creed & Associates brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in financial consultancy. They will work closely with Edufocal’s team to streamline its financial processes, provide strategic financial guidance, and support our long-term financial planning.

The management of Edufocal say they are looking “forward to the positive impact this collaboration will have on our organization and to sharing our progress with you in the coming months”. The company has explained that, “the resignation of Ms. Richardson is not related to any disagreements with the company, it’s board of directors, policy positions or issues related to the audit or financial statements.”
