The Board of Directors of EduFocal Limited has announced the appointment of seasoned business executive Harry Campbell as a Director and Chairman of the Board, effective September 2, 2025.
He replaced long-time chairman and current Managing Director of British Caribbean Insurance Company (BCIC) Peter Levy, who resigned on June 13, 2025, after 12 years of distinguished service at EduFocal.
Campbell is an accomplished technology executive with over 20 years of experience driving digital transformation across the financial, energy, and public sectors.
He most recently served as Chief Technology Officer at Cornerstone Trust & Merchant Bank, where he led strategic technology initiatives for CTMB, Barita Investments Limited, and their parent company. Campbell also brings valuable entrepreneurial and governance experience through his roles as Co-Founder of the technology company Yassuh Jamaica, and has been an Independent Director of FESCO since 2020.
His strong background in financial technology, infrastructure modernisation, and innovation strategy aligns with EduFocal’s mission of leveraging technology to enhance education. Campbell’s leadership, the management and board believe, will be instrumental as EduFocal continues to scale and deliver impactful digital learning solutions.
The board welcomes Campbell to the team and looks forward to his contributions to the company’s strategic direction and long-term growth. Levy’s resignation from the chairmanship and the board directorship of Edufocal comes at a time of major expansion for BCIC, which acquired JN General Insurance.
Levy will be dedicating even greater focus to this transformative integration and the future of the enlarged business.
