As part of its Child Month activities focusing on services offered to children, the Ministry of Justice will tomorrow (May 28) officially launch eight animations produced by its Victim Services Division (VSD).

The launch will take place at the ministry’s 61 Constant Spring Road head office, starting at 11:00 a.m.

The animations portray issues that are connected to violence and related trauma in children, with themes such as ‘Good Touch, Bad Touch’ and ‘How to Deal with a Bully Without Fists’.

They are being utilised as communication tools for social and behavioural change, information dissemination and psycho-education.

This is being done as part of the VSD’s therapeutic programme targeting specific vulnerable groups such as children. Justice Minister Delroy Chuck will address the event.

Among the specially invited guests are Director of Public Prosecutions Paula Llewellyn and some of the ministry’s international partners.
