Vybz Kartel’s ‘Freedom Street’ concert ticket prices are out and social media is reeling at the cost of the tickets.

The Emergency artiste announced his concert date and location on Friday, August 16 and ever since, fans have been waiting for this moment, and the moment has arrived!

Kartel’s ‘Freedom Street’ concert ticket prices have been revealed and they are as follows:

  • Bleachers seats are available for USD 125, offering a good view of the stage and easy access to restrooms.
  • Grandstand seats are priced at USD 300, located behind the cycle track with proximity to bars, food courts, and restrooms.
  • The Infield area, located behind the centre stage, is available for USD 400, providing patrons with a grass-standing area close to bars, food courts, and restrooms.
  • The Cycle Track pods are available for USD 10,000, offering a luxury experience with a great view of the stage, eight tickets, a premium bottle package, a hostess, and security. These pods are situated close to food courts, bars, and restrooms.
  • The Center Stage area, located closest to the stage and behind the media area, is priced at USD 1,500. This area offers the closest view of the stage, drink inclusivity, and proximity to bars and restrooms. Limited number of tickets are available at Tier 1 prices for a limited time online only.

Now that the prices are out, social media has been reacting to the cost, some are elated and others are worried they won’t be able to afford it.

Aside from the expenses, people are also concerned about the timing. They argue that it’s a global tradition to ring in the New Year with loved ones, and given that the Christmas season typically involves higher expenses, they anticipate feeling financially strained by the 31st. They feel as if they’re in a difficult situation.

This is especially true for those ‘Gaza fans’ who are not affluent.
