

The Essence of Reggae Music Festival will serve as the perfect curtain-opener for Reggae Month 2025, when the event returns for its sixth staging at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Center in St Andrew on February 1.
The must-attend festival, a brainchild of Frankie Music Productions, celebrates Jamaica’s beloved genre, showcasing its evolution, diversity, and enduring impact on the world.
“We are thrilled to present the Essence of Reggae Music Festival 2025, which promises to be an unforgettable celebration of Jamaica’s rich musical heritage,” said Grammy-winning producer Comar ‘Frankie’ Campbell of Frankie Music Productions, founder and organiser of the festival.
“Our lineup features some of the most talented and influential reggae artistes, and we can’t wait to share this experience with music lovers from around the world,” he added.
This highly anticipated event promises an unforgettable experience, featuring reggae’s finest, including I-Wayne, Tanya Stephens, Singer J, Munga Honourable, Yaksta, Lutan Fyah, and a few surprises.

Festival details:
- Gates open at noon
- Essence Village: 12:00 pm – 12:00 am, featuring discounts and deals from artisans, food providers, and corporate Jamaica
- Music workshop: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm, focusing on music production, copywriting, management, digital marketing, and music sales
- Concert: 7:00 pm until.
