Single will be featured on her forthcoming ‘Pamoja’ album

He has done it again. Incarcerated dancehall star Vybz Kartel has added his voice to the latest sounds coming out of Jamaica.

This time he has collaborated with Jamaican singer Etana on her latest single, titled Baby O.

The  Afropop-tinged single sees Etana singing about what she would give up for love, assisted by Vybz Kartel, the self-styled ’teacher’.

Etana has shared the visuals for her latest single in a laid-back clip, showcasing Jamaica’s lush landscapes, which take centrestage. The clip sees Etana taking a creative approach to incorporating a Kartel cameo for his verse on the track.

The track is set to appear on Etana’s forthcoming album Pamoja, a bold project hoping to marry the sounds of Jamaica with those from across Africa. The upcoming album boasts features from Stonebwoy, who appears on the album’s first single, Proppa.

The album, which will drop later this year also features, Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley, Vybz Kartel, Wezi and more.
