Reggae Girlz captain Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw scored times and reached a record 100 goals as Manchester City thrashed Aston Villa 6-1 and established a six-point lead atop of the Women’s Super League on Sunday (December 14).

The 28-year-old Shaw became the first Manchester City female player to achieve that feat, and she did it in just 120 games. Last week, the prolific Erling Haaland achieved the feat for Manchester City’s male team.

Shaw’s four goals took her tally to 12 from 11 games. Her nearest challengers for the Golden Boot award are seven goals behind. Five people are sitting on five goals.

Shaw is Jamaica’s all-time top scorer for both male and female with 60 goals from 52 games.

Shaw has propelled Manchester City to their 10th win from 11 games and onto 30 points, six clear of Chelsea on 24 and Arsenal in third on 22 points.

Only recently, Shaw netted three times in Jamaica’s 18-0 win over Dominica in CONCACAF Word Cup qualifier in November.
