Fire destroys section of Constant Spring Arcade

Two restaurants were destroyed and another partially damaged by a fire at the Constant Spring Arcade on Constant Spring Road, St Andrew on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Fire of unknown origin completely destroyed two restaurants and partially damaged a third in the Constant Spring Arcade Monday morning.

Tenants at the arcade called the fire department at around 8:30 after seeing fire coming from one of the buildings. The fire department was quick on the scene but was unable to save two of the buildings.

The fire department is currently probing the cause of the fire.

Three people were shot and injured during the Big Wall Revolution event at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre, including popular podcaster Jhaedee Richards, also known as “Jaii Frais”, a United States citizen and a member of dancehall artist 450’s entourage.
