First trailer teases new Assassin’s Creed game

Ubisoft has released the official cinematic trailer for the next instalment of the Assassin’s Creed video game franchise, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is a single-player, action role-playing game set in 1579 feudal Japan. It features two protagonists Yasuke and Naoe.

Players can complete missions and the storyline as either the combat-oriented Yasuke, Japan’s first Black samurai, or the stealth-oriented Naoe, a female shinobi.

The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, PC, and Amazon Luna.

Though currently available for pre-order, the game will be released on November 15.
