

Retired Journalist Abka Fitz Henley, who was recently appointed to the role of Senator in the Upper House in Parliament says he is grateful for the support he has been receiving following his appointment.
In a statement on Tuesday (May 16), Fitz Henley said that he is aware of the congratulatory messages sent via various platforms and is grateful to those who took the time to reach out.
“I am aware that the important begins now. I am fully focused and committed to doing right by my country,” the senator added.
Fitz Henley and Dr Dana Morris Dixon, General Manager of JN General Insurance Company were sworn into the Upper House on Friday (May 12).
Their appointment comes after the resignation of Government Senators Natalie Campbell-Rodriques and Leslie Campbell.
