Jamaican electric mobility solutions provider Flash Motors Company inked a landmark partnership with Farizon New Energy Group, marking the Caribbean’s first commercial electric vehicle (EV) distribution agreement between a regional company and a global EV manufacturer.
Flash Motors, through the strategic alliance, will be positioned as an authorised distributor of Farizon’s full range of electric vans and trucks in Jamaica.
The partnership will deliver comprehensive sales, after-sales service, and warranty support for both government and commercial fleet operators seeking to enhance efficiency, lower total cost of ownership, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and elevate safety standards.
The collaboration builds upon Flash Motors’ existing relationship with Geely Auto Group—the global automotive leader behind brands such as Volvo, Lotus, and Smart, and EV brands including Riddara, Galaxy, and Zeekr. By introducing Farizon to the Caribbean, Flash Motors strengthens its commitment to delivering cutting-edge, dependable electric commercial vehicles to the region.
To accelerate EV adoption, Flash Motors will partner with JAMECO, Jamaica’s largest fleet leasing company, to ensure that Farizon vehicles will be accessible to major public and private sector fleet operators, supported by flexible financing options.
