Flow Jamaica is urging approximately 80,000 of its mobile customers to upgrade their SIM cards. These customers are now eligible for a free upgrade to an LTE SIM or E-SIM.

Dwight Williams, commercial director of mobile, explained that older, non-LTE SIM cards result in slower browsing speeds and roaming issues outside of Jamaica – which, often can be mistaken for network problems.

“Many of our loyal customers may have obtained their SIMs several years ago and may be unaware of the need to upgrade,” Williams said.

“To ensure you enjoy the best possible browsing experience and seamless connectivity, we strongly encourage our mobile customers to visit their nearest Flow store to upgrade their SIM cards to LTE-compatible ones. This upgrade is essential for taking full advantage of our high-speed mobile network across the island,” he advised.

To verify their current SIM technology, Flow mobile customers may simply dial *555# to confirm if a new SIM card is needed to access an optimized browsing experience and to improve the overseas roaming experience.

“Upgrading to an LTE SIM card will also allow customers to fully utilize their device’s capabilities, especially for customers using high-end smartphones. We are here to support our customers through this important transition and for several months have been issuing multiple communications via SMS messages with instructions on how to upgrade their SIM cards,” Williams added.

Qualifying customers are encouraged to visit any Flow-owned store with a valid ID to receive the free SIM upgrade.

Flow retail outlets are located as follows: Half-Way-Tree Road, King Street, Sovereign, Portmore Sovereign, Portmore Mall, Spanish Town, Mandeville – Leaders Plaza, May Pen, Ocho Rios – Soni’s Plaza, Port Antonio, Port Maria, Negril, Savanna-la-Mar, Fairview – Montego Bay and Church Street – Montego Bay.

Thorburn stated that there is a popular idea of a rising female gangstress in Jamaica, which requires deep understanding to identify how this issue threatens Jamaica’s peace, citizens security, and overall well-being as a country.
