FLOW Jamaica is proudly celebrating the recognition of three of its employees as nominees in the Consumer Advisory Committee on Utilities (CACU) 2nd annual Utility Customer Service Distinction Award.
The nominees are Cruz Creary, field service technician, Oliver Rose, installation technician, and Adrian Granville, service manager, B2B Customer Care.
Launched in 2023, the Award Ceremony acknowledges and recognizes excellence in customer service by a utility staff member who establishes and maintains a positive and effective working relationship with internal and external customers, fellow employees, and the general public. The 11 nominees in 2024 hailed from all major local utility providers.
Stephen Price, vice president and general Manager of Flow Jamaica, expressed his gratitude to his team members who were recognized, stating: “We are immensely proud of our team members who have been nominated for their outstanding service to our customers. Their dedication and commitment are truly commendable and reflect the high standards we strive to maintain at FLOW.
“These awards are a testimony to the core values of FLOW—Passion in all we do, excellent customer service, and work with purpose. Our team members embody these values every day, ensuring that we deliver the best possible service to our customers. We thank each nominee for their hard work and dedication,” he continued.
Flow has been continuously investing in its customer experience throughout the entire organization by upskilling employees and introducing new technology and processes. In 2025, the company said it will embrace a digital-first strategy which will play a significant role in delivering greater efficiency and ease of doing business for its customers.
Price hailed Rose who has been employed to FLOW for 18 years and consistently delivers exceptional service above and beyond the call of duty.
Rose said, “I do not see repairing a fault as a problem but as an opportunity to satisfy and make a customer happy. That is rewarding.”
Creary, who has been employed at FLOW for the past 20 months, is described as the ultimate professional. Known to leave no stone unturned in satisfying a customer, he participates in the company’s keep and care system for service vehicles and is always assisting customers he encounters throughout his work day.
Granville, who serves business customers for FLOW’s sister brand, C&W Business, was recognized for his work with some of the company’s largest customers in the BPO and hospitality industries. He is known as an “impediment remover” and does whatever it takes to achieve his results.
In closing, Price reiterated FLOW’s commitment to providing exceptional telecommunications services to communities, businesses, and individuals across the island.
