Flow’s Riddim Festival to deliver vibrant celebration of Jamaican culture

Telecoms provider Flow is inviting families and culture lovers to experience the heartbeat of Jamaica at its inaugural Riddim Festival, set to take over the historic lawns of Devon House on June 28.

The event is a central feature of Flow’s newly launched Riddim brand platform, which celebrates the unique cultural identity that defines Jamaicans both at home and across the globe.

With a dynamic mix of music, art, food, fashion, and entertainment, the Riddim Festival promises an immersive, family-friendly experience rooted in authentic Jamaican expression.

“From the way Jamaicans talk to how we move, dress, and create, our Riddim platform celebrates it all. This is amplified not only within our local culture but also globally through our digital technology,” said Latoy Lawrence, head of marketing at Flow.

“The Riddim Festival is a fantastic opportunity to bring together the many facets of Jamaican life in one place. It’s about connection, celebration, and community – and best of all, admission is free.”

Festivalgoers can expect performances from some of Jamaica’s most exciting musical talents. 

Confirmed artistes include Armanii, a rising star in the dancehall scene, and Wayne Marshall, veteran singjay and popular content creator. Flow also revealed that additional acts, including a gospel artiste, will be announced in the coming days.

One of the highlights of the festival will be its artisan village, a curated marketplace showcasing the best of Jamaican creativity and craftsmanship. The space will feature products from top local entrepreneurs, offering guests a chance to discover unique, handmade items and support homegrown businesses.

Among the featured creatives is Marsha-Rae McBean, founder of premium sock brand BoxoSox, known for its collection of Jamaican-themed designs, Irie Steppings. 

“Collaborating with Flow for the Riddim Festival is the perfect opportunity,” said McBean. “It allows my brand to connect with a wider audience to share in our celebration of the authentic Jamaican experience, energy and vibes. Jamaica’s Riddim is Irie Steppings, always positive and always progressing.”

Other participating artisans include Iyata’s Organic Soaps, Purple Jade Jewellery, Charl B Wearable Art, and visual artist Jeffrey Perry.

The Riddim Festival is designed for all ages in mind. Guests will enjoy a Jamaican-inspired fashion show, a high-energy dance exposé, and a dedicated Kids’ Zone and games room. A highlight will be the fiercely contested domino tournament, which offers a grand prize of J$120,000 to the winning team.

The festival is part of Flow’s broader Riddim campaign, officially launched on June 6.

The platform reflects the company’s ongoing investment in Jamaica and is anchored by three pillars: real rewards for customers, accessible and responsive customer service, and a constantly evolving network experience.
