Fontana Limited has entered into a partnership with ISD Health Solutions aimed at making sleep disorder solutions more accessible to patients across Jamaica.
Under the partnership, the chain pharmacy will provide patients with more convenient and affordable access to a wide range of ISD sleep health products and services distributed through selected outlets. These include nasal and oral appliances, ResMed CPAP products and accessories, CPAP water, CPAP soap, positional belts, home sleep tests, insomnia programs, free sleep consultations, and the Wake Up Call book.
Gradually, both Fontana and ISD will expand the line to feature additional products, supported by special promotions, discounts, and awareness campaigns.
Stephanie Smith, marketing manager at Fontana Limited, underscored the importance of the partnership for the pharmacy chain and its customers.

“At Fontana, our mission has always been to make quality healthcare solutions more accessible and convenient for our customers. This partnership with ISD Health Solutions allows us to extend that commitment into the vital area of sleep health,” she said.
“By offering innovative products and services across multiple Fontana locations, we are breaking down barriers to care, raising awareness about the risks of untreated sleep disorders, and providing consumers with trusted, affordable solutions to improve their overall well-being,” Smith added.
Preparing to launch
The initiative will launch across four Fontana locations—Barbican Centre, Waterloo Square, Portmore Parkway, and Fairview in Montego Bay—marking the first effort of its kind in the country. Although both organisations have not yet finalised the official launch date, they have already begun preparations to ensure patients can benefit from this partnership without delay.
Still, founder and Clinical Director of ISD Health Solutions, Gregory Arneaud, emphasised the urgency of the initiative.

“Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are the leading cause of death in Jamaica, with conditions like hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, and mental health issues often worsened by poor sleep and low oxygen levels. To address this, Fontana Pharmacy has partnered with ISD Health Solutions, to launch a comprehensive sleep and respiratory care programme. Services include home-based sleep testing, CPAP and oral appliance therapy, positional therapy, and personalised sleep coaching,” he said.
“A key feature is the Sleep O2 Ring, a device that monitors oxygen and heart rate levels, providing real-time alerts and insights for patients with sleep apnea, COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and post-COVID complications. With insurance coverage and Fontana’s accessibility, this initiative empowers Jamaicans to monitor and manage their health at home, reducing the impact of untreated sleep disorders and strengthening national well-being,” Arneaud continued.

Expanding the wake-up call campaign
The collaboration coincides with ISD’s educational campaign geared toward raising awareness about the serious health risks associated with untreated sleep disorders. This year’s educational campaign focuses on snoring as a red flag for conditions such as sleep apnea; the connection between poor sleep and chronic illnesses like hypertension, diabetes, stroke, and heart disease; and the impact of insomnia and poor sleep hygiene on mental health, including mood, anxiety, and depression.
As such, ISD emphasises, through the campaign, the importance of taking action. The company encourages Jamaicans to schedule consultations, try home sleep tests, and explore therapies that can improve sleep quality and overall well-being.
At the heart of this initiative is the understanding that sleep is not a luxury but a necessity for long-term health. With ISD’s growing footprint in Jamaica and strategic partnerships such as this one with Fontana, Jamaicans now have greater access to the tools and support they need to improve their sleep and protect their health.
