A football agent has been arrested after allegedly threatening a Premier League player with a gun during a terrifying encounter in London on September 6.

The player, who is in his 20s and cannot be named for legal reasons, was left shaken but unhurt.

Police say another man was also targeted in the same incident, facing both threats and blackmail. Officers were called after reports of a firearm being used, and the 31-year-old suspect was arrested two days later on suspicion of possessing a gun with intent, blackmail, and driving without a license. He has since been released on bail as the Metropolitan Police continue their investigation.
