ForRich Company to host energy expo at Jamaica Pegasus today

FosRich Company Limited will today host the FosRich and Partners Energy Expo at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel from 2pm to 8pm.

The company says the event will highlight the significance of promoting renewable energy solutions in Jamaica, especially when the high energy cost is a concern for many. 

The FosRich and Partners Energy Expo will feature a range of solar energy solutions from global industry players such as Huawei, JA Solar, BSL Batteries, and FOX ESS. Attendees will have the chance to learn about the latest developments in solar energy and energy storage, as well as explore financing options for their renewable energy projects.

A commercial-grade solar photovoltaic system

Huawei FusionSolar, a global leader in renewable energy solutions, will be showcasing its latest solar inverters, including its Smart PV solutions. JA Solar is one of the leading manufacturers of photovoltaic panels globally. BSL Batteries is known for its high-quality battery storage solutions designed to work seamlessly with solar PV systems. FOX ESS offers a range of solar inverters and energy storage systems that are designed to maximise energy efficiency. 

“To make the transition to renewable energy more accessible, the event will also feature financing options from First Global Bank (FGB) through the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ),” the company shared.

The DBJ is keen on supporting renewable energy projects in Jamaica through its various financing programmes and with the help of affiliate financial institutions. First Global Bank has also been a key player in financing renewable energy projects, with a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility. Loan amounts range from $4 million to $400 million at an interest rate of 8.5 per cent.

At the event, Minister of Science, Energy, Telecommunications, and Transport Daryl Vaz will deliver special remarks.
