Lighting and energy company FosRich has announced the appointment of Dr Marlene Street Forrest to its Board of Directors, effective January 9, 2026.

Dr Street Forrest recently retired from the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) after a distinguished tenure as its longest-serving Managing Director.

Throughout her tenure, she was instrumental in shaping the growth and development of the JSE, including the expansion of Junior Market listings and the broadening of shareholder participation across the capital market. 

In recognition of her outstanding contribution to national and capital market development, Dr Street Forrest has been the recipient of several national and international honours, including the Order of Distinction (Commander Class) and, subsequently, the Order of Jamaica, for exceptional service.  

The FosRich Board warmly welcomes Dr Street Forrest and is confident that her extensive experience, leadership, and professional expertise will meaningfully contribute to the board’s effectiveness and support the company’s strategic direction and long-term growth objectives.  

Two weeks after her retirement from the JSE, Dr Street Forrest announced the launch of Street Forrest Business Consultancy Ltd, which is uniquely positioned to help companies list on the equities market, help markets evolve, and help policymakers design the next generation of capital-market products and services.

She has stepped into the consultancy business with a rare dual mandate of supporting enterprise readiness while also assisting in the creation, shaping, and deepening of markets themselves.
