Four firearms and 57 rounds of ammo seized at St Catherine party

Lawmen attached to the St Catherine South Police Division seized four firearms, along with magazines containing fifty-seven 9mm cartridges in Central Village in the parish on Saturday.

The find was made on Central Road in the Big Lane community of Central Village.

Reports are that between the hours of 3:50 am and 5:25 am, a police team conducted a targeted raid in the area where a party was being held, and the premises on Central Road was searched.

During the search, the firearms and ammunition were found at different locations at the back of the premises.

No one was arrested in relation to the seizure. The investigation continues.
