Four being sought by police in relation to high school stabbing surrender

Four men who were being sought by the police in relation to the stabbing of a student from Cumberland High School in Portmore, St. Catherine have turned themselves in.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) in a statement on Friday (June 16) said the St. Catherine South detectives will interview the four men in the presence of their legal representatives.

The four men were listed by the JCF as Jamiel, otherwise called ‘Ears’, from Power Lane in Newlands, ‘EJ’ also from Power Lane in Newlands, ‘OD’ from Hardware Lan in Newlands and Okra’ from Rosemary Lane in Newlands.

A video surfaced on social media on Thursday (June 15) which showed a student being attacked by a group of men.

Reports are that the 16-year-old student is in stable condition at the hospital.
