Defending champions Frazsiers Whip and Cavalier marched into the final of the Jamaica Women’s Premier League following semi-finals wins over Los Perfectos and Arnett Gardens respectively.
In the curtain raiser at the Constant Spring field, Cavalier and Arnett Gardens battled to 0-0 draw in the second leg which saw Cavalier advancing 4-0 on aggregate.
It was a mammoth task for Arnett Gardens to overturn the four goal deficit from last week’s nightmare first leg but they held their own this time around and brought back some level of respectability to their name.
In the feature encounter, Frazsiers Whip entered the day with a massive 5-0 first-leg advantage and quickly put the tie to bed as Destiny Powell betted in the 27th minute.
National striker Davia Richards had to get on the scoresheet and she scored in the 77th minute making it 2-0 on the night and 7-0 on aggregate.

But a late penalty by veteran Venicia Reid in the 94th minute reduced the deficit on the night for Los Perfectos but too late and too little as Frazsiers Whip ran out easy winners.
The final between Frazsiers Whip and Cavalier will be played on Saturday, August 9 at the 7:00 pm. In the third-place playoff, Arnett Gardens and Los Perfectos meet at 4:00 pm.
