Defending champions Frazsiers Whip and Cavalier Women’s all but secured their spots in the Jamaica Women’s Premier League final with convincing first-leg 5-0 and 4-0 semi-final wins over Los Perfectos and Arnett Gardens at the Constant Spring Field last Saturday.

In the curtain raiser, Frazsiers Whip put one foot in the finals on the back of a brace from National Striker Davia Richards, who netted in the 10th and 27th minutes, taking her tally for the season to an astronomical 42 goals from 21 games.

Further goals by Shaneil Buckley (45+2), Natoya Atkinson (68th), and substitute Ricquanna Richards (85th) put Frazsiers Whip in a very strong position to reach yet another final.

Manchester-based Los Perfectos will have the herculean task of overturning a five-goal deficit against the best team in the league when they meet in the second leg on Saturday.
