Taylor Fritz shined at the Nitto ATP Finals today (November 10), completely defeating Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti 6-3, 6-4 to claim his first victory over him in three years.

The American world number six was nearly untouchable on serve, dropping just three points in the second set and feeding off the energy of the lively Inalpi Arena crowd in Turin.

Musetti, who secured his place only after Novak Djokovic’s late withdrawal, had early break chances but couldn’t convert. Seven of his nine service games dragged to deuce, and as fatigue began to set in, Fritz took full control.
