Many women today are searching for spiritual clarity while balancing the demands of life, career, and personal growth.

For Nakita Barnett, the answer lies in a simple truth: faith needs structure.

Now based in the UK, Barnett is returning to her home country to officially launch her new affirmation book, It Is So!

Book It Is So!

The launch is part of her growing faith-based brand, KitaShines, which provides practical tools for women seeking alignment between spiritual growth and everyday structure. Her visit will also include the ‘Shine with Purpose’ pop-up shop on Saturday, July 26, at 11 Trinidad Terrace, New Kingston, from 11 am to 5 pm.

The event will provide attendees with the opportunity to experience her book firsthand, purchase a signed copy, connect with her message, and engage in conversations around purpose-driven living.

With a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership and more than 18 years of teaching and mentorship experience, Barnett has long focused on helping women manage overwhelm, reconnect with purpose, and take actionable steps toward intentional living.

It Is So! speaks to real-life issues, covering topics like:

  • Financial confidence
  • Stress relief and inner peace
  • Abundance and prosperity
  • Relationships and personal boundaries

Through her personal development brand, KitaShines, Nakita has developed three core resources:

  • A faith-based planner for intentional living
  • Two books, including It Is So!
  • A line of empowering merchandise—T-shirts, caps, armbands, and bags—that encourages daily affirmation and identity in Christ.

A recent Amazon reviewer described It Is So! as, “An amazing book… a practical guide of encouragement to dig into your deeper self… very easy to read and useful. I recommend it for anyone who is struggling to find their inner self… a useful text for young people transitioning into adulthood.”

The brand has already earned the endorsement of pastorandgospelartisteRyanMark, a respected gospel figure known for his work with youth and urban ministry. His support adds another layer of credibility to KitaShines’ growing influence among faith-based communities both in Jamaica and abroad.

“Faith is powerful, but it needs structure to carry it into daily life,” said Barnett. “KitaShines is about helping women develop discipline, deepen their faith, and stay connected to purpose.”

Her return to Jamaica is about more than a product launch, it’s a reconnection with the audience that first inspired her journey as a mentor and teacher and to empower women to shine confidently in their God-given calling, through tools they can actually use.
