
Greater Miami and Miami Beach is a favourite travel destination offering not only easy access and great weather, but also a diverse calendar of events to appeal to varying tastes and preferences.
Food, music and sports are on the calendar for the first few months of 2026. The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival (February 19 – 22) showcases the talents of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities. The festival’s events include brunches, intimate dinners, late-night parties, wine seminars, master classes and more. Jamaica’s own Chef Andre Fowles and Hugh Sinclair a.k.a. Chef Irie will join chefs Kwame Onwuachi and Nina Compton for Las’ Lap Link Up: A Celebration of Afro-Caribbean Cuisine on February 20.

The Montreux Jazz Festival Miami returns to Coconut Grove for its 3rd staging 27 February to 1 March. Host Grammy award-winning Jon Baptiste welcomes Nile Rogers and Chic and Toto among other world-class jazz and contemporary artists for performances at an intimate waterfront setting in Coconut Grove. March also features the Miami Open which brings the world’s best tennis players to Miami for two weeks of thrilling competition from March 15 to 29.
The Miami Film Festival (April 9 to 19) kicks off an exciting month of activities in April. Showcasing over 100 films from 40 countries, this world-class event celebrates international and American cinema.
May’s Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix transforms the city into a high-energy destination combining elite racing with entertainment and nightlife. One of the most popular events of the year in Greater Miami and Miami Beach, F1 is more than a race. While the world’s greatest drivers and racing teams will be on hand, the three-day weekend event (May 1 to 3) will also feature live music, fantastic food and interactive experiences that are as much a part of the fun as the race itself.
The eyes of the world will be on Miami when the FIFA World Cup 2026 matches will be played at Hard Rock Stadium from June 15 to July 18.

August and September arecentred on food and value with Miami Spice Restaurant Months when hundreds of restaurants across Greater Miami and Miami Beach offer fixed-price menus giving visitors a chance to sample the city’s diverse culinary scene at reduced prices.
Excitement reaches fever pitch when Bruno Mars brings his Romantic Tour to the Hard Rock Stadium on September 19 with special guests special guests Anderson Paak as DJ Pee Wee, and Raye (Where is my husband?).

Caribbean culture and creativity is highlighted from October through December with Miami Carnival, the inevitable presence of Caribbean authors at the Miami Book Fair in October, and the works of some of our notable artists showcased as part of the Art of Black presentations during Art Basel Miami Beach in December.
With frequent flights from Jamaica, familiar Caribbean influences, and global-scale events, Miami offers Jamaican travellers a compelling reason to visit Greater Miami and Miami Beach during 2026.
