VaCae Weekend 2024, powered by Smirnoff and Wisynco Group, delivered as promised with a stellar line-up of deejays, performers, and other celebrities to create the ultimate party playground.

Catering to over 8,000 patrons throughout the incident-free weekend, the highlights of this memorable occasion are unmatched.

Curated by the directors of Twenty 14 Limited, VaCae Weekend from March 29 – April 1 in Ocho Rios, St Ann has become a household name catering to people interested in Caribbean entertainment and lifestyle.

Andrew Ellis, CEO of Twenty 14 Limited, said: “This weekend signals a catalyst for change in how government and corporate Jamaica view events of this nature. We were able to create countless job opportunities for Jamaicans while increasing revenue from tourism. VaCae Weekend, through the help of our loyal fanbase, has grown tremendously and as we continue to grow, we will embrace additional markets to export our events.”

The weekend began at Plantation Cove in St Ann with ‘The Lawn’, a chic, yellow affair that provided brunch for those in attendance. The ambience, food, music, and fashion, coupled with dazzling fireworks kicked off the weekend on a high note. Following was the dancehall-themed event ‘Pan Di Plaza’, which gave attendees a chance to enjoy food and music and take part in a celebration of dancehall’s contribution to fashion through their risky and memorable fashion statements.

The event also featured a performance from dancehall artiste Bayka.

Day 2 of the weekend saw the water party ‘Aqua Holix’ at Bay Beach in Ocho Rios. After that was the ‘Strictly 2K Throwback Music Festival’ at Plantation Cove, paying tribute to the best of the 2000s and featured a performance by dancehall artiste Tony Matterhorn.

In the evening, the all-white, all-inclusive wine event ‘The Estate’ gave attendees a premium feel. Under the theme ‘Vineyard Soiree’, white floral touches, mixed crystals, and white drapings gave multiple photo opportunities, paired with unlimited all-inclusive wine made this event ‘top tier’.

Later in the evening, the adult-playground ‘Ova Suh’, saw attendees sporting their best pyjamas or other nightwear of choice and letting loose to the best music from multiple DJs until 3 a.m.

To close out Day 3, the incident-free Sandz X (Sandz Caribbean Music Festival) with over 8,000 patrons in attendance featured an Egyptian theme. The music festival featured an appearance by Jayda Wayda (the host of the weekend) and performances from Jada Kingdom and American rapper Yung Miami, and Rebel. Late in the night were performances from Aidonia, followed by Skeng and Jahshii appearing on stage together for the first time in two years.

The Twenty 14 Limited team is now focused on their next showing at the Sandz Caribbean Music Festival in Florida on May 27.
