Since his retirement in 2017, Olympic world record holder Usain Bolt has been spreading his wings to dominate more than just the track- his latest adventure, walking the runway at Puma’s New York Fashion Week.
Bolt shared the news yesterday (September 14) in a video that showed the track star strutting down the runway.
He captioned it “country yute at Puma New York Fashion Week #PumaFutrograde.”

Reminding spectators of his reign in track and field, Bolt did his signature ‘To the World’ pose at the end of the runway, as spectators erupted into a choir of cheers.
The eight-time Olympic gold medalist was immaculately dressed in a black suit emblazoned with the Puma logo.
To complete the look, a white shirt and wide black bow tie was added with a pair of black trainers that dressed down the outfit.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Bolt shared that this was not his first time walking a runway and he was a lot more confident this time around.
The experience was a change of pace for the legendary sprinter who is usually seen dashing down the 100m track in under 10 seconds, but it was something he welcomed.
“It’s definitely different, walking this slow, but I was just following all the models. They say slow it down, enjoy the moment, so I did just that,” he shared.

Joining him on the runway was Jamaican-Canadian fashion model Winnie Harlow, who shared how excited she was to walk with Bolt.
“Can’t believe I got to walk with you, legend!! What a blessing! Career pinnacle I could’ve never dreamt of,” shared Harlow in a comment under Bolt’s post.
Harlow gained prominence in 2014 as a contestant on the 21st cycle of the US television series America’s Next Top Model.
