Blending reggae roots with bold storytelling and a conscious edge, emerging reggae artist Zaila-Jazz continues to carve her lane with the release of her newest single “STONY” produced by German at Emudio Records and music video directed by Gareth Daley.

The single was released on Tuesday, April 6th 2026. The track delivers a playful yet satirical love story inspired by her upbringing in Stony Hill, paying homage to the vibrant community that helped shape her artistry and identity. With buttery smooth lyricism layered over infectious reggae rhythms,“STONY” captures both the charm and complexity of love and community, and showcases culture in Jamaica.

Raised in a deeply musical household, she inherited her passion for music at an early age. Surrounded by musicians and cultural influences, her sound reflects a rich blend of reggae traditions infused with modern perspective and timeless storytelling.

Since the release of her debut single “Abeng” and her first featured collaboration “Lifted” alongside reggae icon Sizzla Kalonji, Zaila has steadily built momentum within the reggae landscape. She performed recently at the Louise Bennett benefit concert in Florida, her single ‘Dangerous’ has been growing on the UK charts, and subsequently had her first breakout viral moment came with her striking song of “S.M.D – Sex, Money, Drugs” on the widely recognized WYFL Dancehall Riddim, which organically generated over 1 million+ views across digital platforms, introducing her voice and unapologetic perspective to a growing global audience.

Now with “STONY,” she continues that momentum, offering listeners a track that balances love, relatability, and cultural authenticity while spotlighting the spirited character of her hometown.

She also gears up to release her second collaborative featured single with dancehall artist Rytikal, titled ‘One More Time’ – and also prepares to perform in the BVI for the first time in May 2026.
