US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Boston has deported a criminal alien fugitive wanted in Jamaica for child rape, following his illegal entry into Stamford, Connecticut.
The deportee, Albert George Davis, 59, was removed from the United States on August 21 and handed over to Jamaican authorities, who had sought his arrest in connection with the rape of a child in 2020, according to information posted on ICE website.
“Albert George Davis fled to Connecticut in an apparent attempt to avoid prosecution for the disturbing victimization of a child in Jamaica,” said ERO Boston Deputy Field Office Director David Wesling.
“He had been hiding out in our community for five years, but now he will be forced to face justice in his native country. ICE Boston will continue to prioritise public safety by aggressively locating, arresting, and removing criminal alien offenders from our New England communities.”
Davis entered the U.S. legally in New York City on June 14, 2020, using a non-immigrant visa. On July 1, 2020, the Saint Andrew Parish Court in Jamaica issued a warrant for his arrest for rape and sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years of age. Following the warrant, the U.S. State Department revoked his visa.
ICE Boston officers from the Hartford field office arrested Davis in Stamford on May 29, 2024, and placed him into removal proceedings. On March 4, 2025, a U.S. Justice Department immigration judge ordered his removal to Jamaica.
Davis was formally deported on August 21, and Jamaican law enforcement immediately took custody to ensure he faces the pending charges.
The deportation underscores ICE’s ongoing commitment to public safety by targeting criminal aliens who violate U.S. immigration laws, according to the agency.
