Family members and friends of reggae artiste Joseph ‘Jo Mersa’ Marley will gather to celebrate his 31 years of life at his funeral today (January 17).
Reports are that the service will be privately held at the Bob Marley Museum in St Andrew that is dedicated to Joseph’s grandfather and reggae icon, Bob Marley.
The Bob Marley Museum has issued a statement on its Instagram account, stating that it will be closed today and resume regular operations tomorrow (January 18).
Just two days after Christmas (December 27), news began circulating about the death of the Jamaican-American recording artiste who is the son of Stephen Marley and Kerry-Ann Smith.
According to reports, his body was found unresponsive in his car in the United States. It is suspected that he died of an asthma attack.
Mersa leaves behind wife Qiara, six-year-old daughter Sunshine and 12 siblings.
