Ganja valued over J$11 million seized in St Elizabeth

Members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s (JCF) Area 3 Narcotics Police Division seized some 1,000 pounds of compressed ganja in Tryall district, St Elizabeth on Saturday, March 30.

The drug has an estimated street value of J$11,038,000.

Police reports are that about 10 a.m., lawmen on patrol searched a premises in the area. During the search, 25 knitted bags containing ganja weighing approximately 1,103 pounds were seen in an unfinished building.

No one was arrested in relation to the seizure.
