GenXS Carnival has opened its fourth season with INFINITI, a creative direction centred on endless energy and transformation.
The website is live, costume reveals are public, and registration is open. The 2026 presentation features sections by regional designers Shawn Dhanraj, David Dewer, Douglas John, Rhion Romany and Kriston Milano, with the LIMITLESS T-shirt section by Monét Flowers and Tobi-Gail Smith-Henry.
“INFINITI is our boldest creative statement to date,” said Monét Flowers, marketing manager and creative lead. “We drew on natural forces and phenomena, from the glow of the Northern Lights to the mystery of a mirage. Every feather, gem, string, and stone is crafted to channel power and confidence on the road.”
“Carnival is celebration, and it is renewal,” said Mala Morrison, band leader and director. “In a year when communities are still recovering after Hurricane Melissa, the industry restores income for vendors, artistes, production crews, hotels, transport, and food services. Last season, Carnival in Jamaica generated over US$8 million in spend. GenXS is focused on pushing that contribution further in 2026 with stronger entertainment, safer staging, and better hospitality, start to finish.”

Following her remarks, GenXS confirmed sponsorship and community measures: Smirnoff under Red Stripe Group returns as title sponsor for the fourth year, along with premier partners KFC and Wisynco.
In addition, masqueraders who purchase on the platform will receive a post-purchase email that includes a Jamaica Relief support link powered by MasOS, providing a safe, optional way to contribute to ongoing recovery efforts.
The Jamaican season is anchored by Immortals J’Ouvert, the GenXS Road March, and Ocean X, with lead-up partner events to be confirmed. Immortals J’Ouvert is Jamaica’s largest marching J’Ouvert, open to all masqueraders. Ocean X, the Maiden Cay experience, remains a crowd favourite that pairs island scenery with curated sound and service. “Our anchors carry real weight now,” said Kino Johnson, director. “Immortals J’Ouvert sets the tempo, GenXS Road March delivers the all-day showcase, and Ocean X on Maiden Cay is the exhale. Together they frame a season that feels premium, distinctly Jamaican, and built for people who love Carnival in Jamaica.”

Regional momentum is positive. GenX Miami, the sister band, placed third in the Miami Band of the Year Showcase, and the Trinidad 2026 Tribe section is reported as oversold. In Kingston, the GenXS Band House opens at Sovereign Centre in time for Christmas and operates through early February, offering fittings, payments, and customer support.
