Three years later, after the conclusion of season 2, One Punch Man Series Illustrator Yusuke Murata yesterday (August 17) announced the return of the Anime fan favourite on Twitter.

Questions are still up in the air about which studio will be producing the upcoming season, as fans will remember the season 1 masterpiece created by Studio Madhouse and the mixed reception of JC Staff’s season 2.

Fans are remaining hopeful that the series will return to Studio Madhouse or another studio that can recreate the high quality that was season 1.

While little detail has been announced, fans of the original manga know the upcoming arc is loaded with some of the series’ best action sequences.

One Punch Man is an anime series aired by Crunchyroll to English audiences that centres around the main character, Saitama, a superhero with the strength to defeat any opponent with a single punch, who suffers from immense boredom due to the lack of challenges he faces.

Season 1 originally aired in English from July 2016 to October 2016 and season 2 originally aired in English from October 2019 to December January 2020.
