Global tech leader Jacky Wright joins GraceKennedy Board

Global tech leader Jacky Wright

GraceKennedy Limited (GKL) is announcing the appointment of Jacky Wright to its Board of Directors, effective November 13, 2025.

Wright is a globally recognised technology leader renowned for driving innovation at scale and aligning technology strategy with sustainable business growth and societal impact. Over the course of her distinguished career, she has held senior leadership roles at global organisations including Microsoft, British Petroleum (BP), and General Electric (GE).

Most recently, Wright served as Chief Technology and Platform Officer at McKinsey & Company, where she led that firm’s global technology strategy, AI transformation, and modernisation initiatives impacting more than 40,000 colleagues worldwide.

Professor Gordon Shirley, Chairman of GraceKennedy Limited, commented, “Jacky brings extensive boardroom expertise in strategy, technology, including cybersecurity and AI, risk, and enterprise-wide digital transformation. Wright holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Science and Accounting from Baruch College in New York, executive education credentials from Stanford University, and honorary doctorates from the University of Bath and Aston University in the UK. Widely recognised among the UK’s most influential Black leaders and listed among the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Tech, she is also a passionate advocate for equity, education, and the development of the next generation of talent.
