15-track album features superstar friends
Reggae singer ‘Gramps’ Morgan is currently promoting his latest solo effort, the 15-track album, Positive Vibrations, which the Grammy-winning lead vocalist of siblings band Morgan Heritage believes is destined to be a hit with fans.
Thirteen of the songs on this, his third solo album, were written by Gramps.
His last album was released nine years ago.
Positive Vibrations features Gramps’ legendary father, Denroy Morgan; his eldest son, Jemere Morgan; reggae-dancehall entertainer Lybran ‘The Rum Boss’; and long-time friend India Arie, who is a four-time Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum R&B star.
Gramps is proud of doing tracks like, Float Ya Boat, done alongside close friend Shaggy to the hit beat of Islander. He believes the album, produced by Johnny Reid, a respected country music star, is an ideal listen.
Reid’s stellar songwriting expertise, coupled with Gramps’ disciplined work ethic, has resulted in what has been described as a masterpiece that music lovers of all ages and varying cultures will no doubt give the thumbs up to.
