All roads lead to the National Stadium next Saturday (September 2) for the grand return of Streetz Festival after a five-year hiatus.

The stage show, sponsored by stout giant Dragon, promises to be the best staging yet and anticipates a crowd of thousands of people from across the world. Previous stagings of the concert were held in Ocho Rios and have had multiple headliners such as Ding Dong and Sky Juice.

Pulling out all the stops to ensure patrons are thoroughly entertained, the popular festival will have rising dancehall star, Masicka as its headliner. Masicka, a prolific entertainer with hit tracks like ‘Tyrant’, ‘History’ and ‘Update’, will be giving a live performance for the first time in five years.

Alongside Masicka, there will be creative musical stylings from some of Jamaica’s most admired DJs, namely Boom, Shukkle Bus, Zj Chrome and a lot of other dancehall talents. Speaking about their sponsorship of the event, Dragon brand manager Nathan Nelms promises that patrons can expect an authentic, never-before-seen dancehall experience.

According to Nelms, “Masicka is one of the biggest artistes of this generation. It is no secret that he is a heavy hitter in the industry and always delivers outstanding performances. Masicka is an artiste that our patrons love and the Streetz Festival is also important to them. When the opportunity came for us to partner with the organisers it was a no brainer. We plan to show up for patrons in a real way and we cannot wait for them to see what’s in store.”

The Streetz Festival aims to revive and uplift dancehall culture and is a not to be missed event.
