Gregory Fisher confirmed for JSE Regional Investments & Capital Markets Conference

Jefferies Group is the lead global sponsor of the 2023 conference 

The Jamaica Stock Exchange on Harbour Street in Kingston.

Gregory Fisher, the managing director and head of Emerging Markets (EM) Fixed Income Wealth Management at the Jefferies Group, has been confirmed for the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Regional Investments and Capital Markets Conference to be held at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston from January 24 – 26.

Fisher will be presenting on the topic, ‘International Business Outlook in a Post COVID World’.

He has partnered with the JSE in hosting this blue-ribbon conference, as its lead sponsor since its inception.

By its successful staging each year, the JSE’s Regional Conference has earned its place as a calendar event to which government officials, leading experts in business, investors, and other stakeholders, locally and worldwide, look forward to attending each year.

Jefferies Group, which is an American multinational independent investment bank and financial services company headquartered in New York City, is the conference’s lead global sponsor of the JSE 2023 conference. The firm provides clients with capital markets and financial advisory services, institutional brokerage, securities research, and asset management.

Fisher’s wealth of experience

Fisher has served in the securities business for over 30 years and joined Jefferies in November 2015 as head of EM Fixed Income Sales within its Wealth Management Division.

Prior to joining Jefferies, Fisher worked at Oppenheimer & Co, also as a managing director. He joined Oppenheimer in 2005, where he was instrumental in the creation of a new Oppenheimer & Co Inc branch, Atlanta International, with its main focus on the Caribbean and Central American businesses.

Fisher was a senior managing director at Bear Stearns & Co, before moving to Oppenheimer. As a senior managing director at Bear Stearns, he was also in charge of Sales and Trading for firms in the Caribbean and Central America.
