Guardian Group is once again heading to the streets as it reintroduces its signature night run under a vibrant new identity: the SHINE 5K Night Run/Walk.

The event makes its grand return on Saturday, May 10, at Emancipation Park after a five-year hiatus, promising an unforgettable evening filled with music, movement, and meaningful impact.

Guardian encourages participants of all fitness levels to join in this night-time race through New Kingston. The event will feature live entertainment, including a post-run performance by dancehall and reggae icon Agent Sasco.

SHINE— Securing Hope for Those In Need—has raised over $102 million since its inception, supporting national health care and social programmes. This year’s beneficiaries include the Bustamante Hospital for Children, Noel Holmes Hospital, and Project STAR.

Participants beam with excitement following an energising pre-race SHINE Fit Session hosted by Guardian Group and led by sponsor Express Fitness on May 1, 2025. The session served as a dynamic lead-up to race day.

Race kits can be collected May 8–10 at @14 (formerly The Deck) on Trafalgar Road. The second leg of the SHINE 5K will be staged in Montego Bay on May 24, 2025, at Harmony Beach Park.
