The 2025/26 Premier League season is underway, and Guinness is back for a second year as Official Beer of the Premier League, once again connecting Jamaican fans to the most exciting football league in the world.

The season kicked off on August 15, 2025, ushering in months of world-class football that will run until May next year. The new season launched with fireworks, as Liverpool opened their title defence with a thrilling 4–2 victory over Bournemouth at Anfield.

Tottenham stunned Manchester City with a 2–0 win at the Etihad, marking City’s first opening home defeat in 36 years, while Arsenal lit up the Emirates with a commanding 5–0 win over Leeds. Just a few weeks in, and the table is already showing signs of another fiercely competitive season.

Jamaicans have long been among the most passionate supporters of the Premier League, with loyalties often divided among the giants. Liverpool, last season’s champion, continues to draw admiration for their attacking flair, while Manchester United remains a global powerhouse with a rich history of dominance.

Arsenal’s youthful energy and hunger to reclaim glory have also captured a new generation of local supporters, and Chelsea, despite recent rebuilding years, maintains deep roots among Jamaican fans. Match after match, these clubs ignite heated debates, spark lively banter, and create unforgettable viewing moments across the island.

As the Premier League continues to heat up, Guinness is once again ensuring that Jamaican fans can feel every moment of the action right here at home. In the coming weeks, supporters can look forward to gathering and sharing in the highs and lows of the season, as well as special deals at key bars and sports lounges, and interactive fan moments, from social media callouts to on-the-ground activations that invite Jamaicans to join in the matchday rituals.

“Beyond the pitch, football fuels passion, community, and tradition. Guinness, alongside the Premier League, is fostering spaces where Jamaican fans can come together to celebrate the sport and its values,” said Lasana Wilson, Junior Brand Manager, Guinness/Diageo Jamaica.

As the Premier League season continues to gather momentum, fans are encouraged to keep the energy alive by proudly repping their teams and sharing their matchday traditions. With its long-standing heritage of community, togetherness, and responsible enjoyment, Guinness remains committed to bringing the spirit of the ‘Lovely Game’ to Jamaica. So raise your glass, cheer for your team, and make every matchday a Guinness moment!
