Spanish hospitality chain H10 Hotels is reaping many dividends from the spectacular performance of its two prominent Jamaican resorts in Trelawny, Ocean Eden Bay and Ocean Coral Spring.
Both resorts have demonstrated impressive performance since their openings in December 2019 with high occupancy rates and excellent guest reviews. This has added substantially to the group’s Caribbean portfolio, where the combined revenue from Ocean Eden Bay and Ocean Coral Spring contributing as much as a 20 per cent increase in the portfolio earnings in 2023.
The hotel group is reporting that this economic success has also benefited the Jamaican economy, creating over 500 jobs and supporting numerous local businesses through partnerships and sourcing of local products.
High occupancy rates
Ocean Eden Bay and Ocean Coral Spring have maintained high occupancy rates, particularly during peak seasons, and have attracted a substantial number of international travellers. Data from Vacation Express show the Trelawny resorts chalked up an average occupancy rate of over 85 pe rcent in 2023, indicative of their popularity among visitors.
In addition, guest satisfaction surveys indicate a high level of contentment with Ocean Eden Bay receiving an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars on major travel review platforms.
Ocean Eden Bay
Ocean Eden Bay, an adult-only all-inclusive resort, offers a variety of suites, including Privilege Junior Suites and Rooftop Master Suites.
