Haitians arrested in St Thomas

Three Haitian nationals have been detained, including a minor, on suspicion of unlawful entry into Jamaica.

Reportedly, the individuals were discovered at a Golden Grove, St Thomas residence, around 5:30 pm on Friday. Among those held is an eight-year-old boy.

Law enforcement also took a 41-year-old man from Arcadia, Lyssons, into custody on suspicion of harbouring the group.

The Passport, Immigration & Citizenship Agency (PICA) has joined the investigation.
