

Olivia Grange, the Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport, celebrates her 77th birthday today.
Her contributions to the development and promotion of Jamaica’s cultural heritage, gender equality, and sports have made her a beloved figure in Jamaica.
Affectionately referred to as “Basbsy’ by her peers. She has had a long and illustrious career as a public servant, politician, and cultural ambassador. She served as a member of parliament for over two decades before being appointed as the Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport in 2016.
