Happy ANTIversary Rihanna!

It’s been five years since Bajan singer, fashion designer and beauty product creator Rihanna dropped her Anti album.

Anti is the singer’s eighth album and was released on January 28, 2016 through Westbury Road and Roc Nation.

The artiste took to social media, celebrating with throwback pics and a caption wishing herself, “happy #ANTIversary”.

Rihanna also expressed gratitude to her Navy for their continuous dedication through a 30-second video showing her accomplishments since the album was released.

The album hit no.1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, achieved more than 15 billion streams worldwide and sold more than 11 million copies globally. The album also received 32.5 million in sales for the Caribbean-infused single, Work, 17+ million for Needed Me, 15 million for Love on the Brain, more than 5.5 million units moved of Kiss It Better and 4.5 million for Sex With Me.

Badgal Riri hasn’t dropped a full-length album since Anti. Instead she focused on her Savage x Fenty and Fenty Beauty.

Fans are in a frenzy whenever Riri drops hit singles/albums, achieving a desired sound that resonates with, if not most, all.
