Today marks quite a special day for, Jamaican entrepreneur, Rohan Marley as he is celebrating his 51st birthday.
Rohan Anthony Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley, was born on May 19, 1972, in Kingston Jamaica.
Marley migrated to the United States at the age of nine to live with his mother. In 1991 he graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School.
PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL PLAYER (AMERICAN FOOTBALL)
Shortly after, Marley began attending the University of Miami in Florida where he played linebacker for the university’s football team. In 1993, he led the Hurricanes’ defense with 95 tackles.
Marley would later play professional football in the Canadian Football League with the Ottawa Rough Riders.
In 1996 Marley met and began dating American singer Lauryn Hill. They were together for several years until they broke up in 2009.
Currently, Marley is an entrepreneur who owns and manages several businesses both in Jamaica and the US.
