January 2, 2026, has been set as the date for the  Hard Rock Live ‘Stay Strong Benefit’ concert for Jamaica, which was recently launched at a press conference at the Seminole Hard Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, California.

The concert will feature performances by top international artistes with most of them being Jamaicans, while the others are directly connected to the island. Attendees can expect performances from top acts such as Shaggy, Queen of Reggae Marcia Griffiths, Julian Marley, Wayne Wonder, Inner Circle, Third World, Wailers, I-Octane, Etana, Tee Jay, Shuga, Ernie Smith, Mykal Rose, Chalice, Brick and Lace, Ed Robinson and more.

The benefit concert is to aid Jamaica’s recovery from Hurricane Melissa, which devastated the island on Tuesday, October 28, killing 45 people and leaving thousands homeless across the western region of the island.

The organisers say, “100 per cent of net proceeds from ticket sales and donations will be directed to the country of Jamaica through Jamaica’s Promise, the designated beneficiary from the Hard Rock Heals Foundation, supporting urgently needed housing, infrastructure repair, and humanitarian aid.”

Tickets cost US$68 to US$208 via ticketmaster.com

Golden’s musical journey began in an unlikely space — the shower — where he first combined melody with the poetry that had long been part of his daily ritual. What started as love poems evolved into two published poetry books, and now, an EP that carries the same name as his second collection.
