The 90s and early 2000s is an era in music that produced several mega hits. If you happen to be feeling the nostalgia of that era, here is some good news.
Throwback party series Yush is next month set to present live performances from Hip Hop and R&B superstars Ja Rule and Ashanti.

Dubbed ‘Mega Yush’, the party will see the former Murder Inc labelmates, who ruled the early 2000s with numerous Hip Hop & R&B hits such as Mesmerise, Always on Time and Happy, taking to the stage at what is expected to be one of the biggest events of the year.

Ashanti is no stranger to the island as the Grammy-winning artiste has performed in Jamaica on several occasions.
Meanwhile, the Always on Time singer has shared over the years her deep love for the Jamaican culture, especially Dancehall music.

Her last performance in Jamaica was in 2016 when she returned to the island to perform for a Shaggy and Friends Concert, where she reunited with Beenie Man for another stage performance of their 2014 single First Real Love.

Mega Yush will take place on November 26 at Sabina Park in Kingston.
Fans can get their super early bird tickets now online. The tickets became available last Friday (October 7) and remain available for one week only or while stocks last, so be sure to get your early bird ticket now!

In a release, promoters of the event say Yush is a fundraiser for the UWI Scholarship Fund.
Ja Rule and Ashanti shared the stage in September last year on Verzuz, much to the delight of fans.
Promoters are encouraging fans to turn out for the event to witness mega artistes, mega vibes and, of course, a Mega Yush.
