Holness makes executive changes to his administration

Effective today, May 21, Senator Dana Morris Dixon will take on the responsibility for information in addition to Skills and Digital Transformation.

This follows executive changes made by Prime Minister Andrew Holness to his administration.

“The adjustments will assist the administration in more efficiently and effectively deliver its policies and programmes to Jamaican people,” the Prime Minister said in a statement on Monday, May 20.

Morris Dixon will replaces Robert Morgan as information minister following his resignation. He has been reassigned to the Ministry of Economic, Growth and Job Creation with responsibility for Works.

Senator Abka Fitz-Henley has been assigned the role of parliamentary secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister says his administration is steadfastly committed to fulfilling its 2020 mandate to transform Jamaica into peaceful, productive, and prosperous nation.
