The Honey Bun Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2026 advisory committee cohort – a transformative year-long programme that provides small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with strategic mentorship from a team of expert advisors.

The application window is now open and will close on November 24.

Designed to accelerate the growth of Jamaican SMEs and creatives, the advisory committee model pairs each selected company with a trio of seasoned advisors over a 12-month period. Participants benefit from tailored support, including strategic planning, financial tools, accountability milestones, and monthly progress reviews.

Since its launch in 2022, the model has helped dozens of entrepreneurs achieve significant business growth. Notably, Netty’s Farm, a participant in the 2023 cohort, recorded an impressive 93 per cent increase in revenue through the programme.

“We designed the advisory committee model to take entrepreneurs from uncertainty to clarity, structure, and growth,” said Nashauna Lalah, general manager of the Honey Bun Foundation. “It’s more than mentorship, it’s a proven system that provides businesses with the practical support they need to thrive.”

Business owners from all sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing, creative industries, and services, are encouraged to apply. Preference is given to businesses that show strong potential for scalability, job creation and innovation.

“This programme is ideal for business owners who are serious about moving to the next level but need structured, expert guidance to get there,” said Lalah.

“We’re excited to welcome our next cohort and support them through another year of transformation.”

Additional information, including success stories, eligibility criteria, and video highlights from past cohorts, is available via the foundation’s Instagram page.
